My store project is located inside a big department store in Japan. All HVAC system in my project is controlled by the landlord of the base building. As a tenant, we are not allowed to change freely the layout of the ductwork or install any devices on the ventilation system without their permission, even if the HVAC system is within the project's boundaries. If we require to change, the landlord has to review and approve then they will designate their own contractor team to construct. The only system we have control over is lighting and lighting control. It's very hard to force the landlord to follow the Cx management of LEED for the HVAC system. In this case, will the Fundamental and Enhanced Cx scope of the project still include the HVAC system? Can we only do Cx management for Lighting and lighting control? Thanks for your insights.
