In LEED 4 wording includes " In private rooms, also provide exterior window shades, blinds, or curtain controls that are readily accessible from the patient’s bed"
This has been removed in LEED 4.1 which now only represents lighting controls and eliminated blinds and shades. Its my understanding that shades and window blinds are not part of LEEDs definition of a lighting control method. OR has LEED now grouped controllable window shades into a " lighting control" solution.
