Hello,
I'm working on a project which is on the review stage. The project is applying to the LEED 2009 Credit IEQc3.2: Construction IAQ management plan - before occupancy, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in Medellin, Colombia the team is unable to run the tests required for the credit and would like to consider an alternative documentation path for the air testing Option to which the project is aiming. It’s important to note that the project wont be inaugurated for as long as the pandemic ends for multiple reasons, some of them being that construction on the project has been put on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions and since the project is part of a university campus it can’t be occupied due to universities being closed in the city. I would really appreciate your input as to what would be the correct way of documenting the Credit for the final review to continue with the certification process.
Thanks

I had a similar issue with the timing of flush out procedures for the Indoor Air Quality Assessment credit on a LEED v4 project due to COVID-related material delivery delays. I recommend you do what I did and reach out to LEEDcoach@usgbc.org with a narrative detailing your specific issue and your proposed method for meeting the intent of the credit to see under what circumstances GBCI may issue a one time exception.

we had a similar situation with the post-occupancy visit associated with the Enhanced Commissioning credit. LEED Coach was able to offer alternate solutions. I agree with Summer, LEED Coach is the way to go.
good luck!
