CS-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

Core & Shell Residential Project - Ventilation rates

Hello

We have a C&S residential project which will be mechanically ventilated.  The outdoor ventilation per dwelling unit rates are considerable higher in ASHRAE 62.1  compared to the ASHRAE 62.2   required for Homes and Multifamily.

Does anyone has experience in using the 62.2 standard for a C&S residential project?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Your question is a little unclear. If you are looking at the minimum ventilation rates used in the baseline energy model, and your design complies with 62.1-2016 (and 62.2-2016), you could use a LEED v4.1 credit substitution for EQp Minimum IAQ Performance. This version clearly indicates that it does not apply to dwelling units so 62.2 becomes the referenced standard and could be justified as the baseline ventilation rate.
