Currently our furniture products use Greenguard Certificates and ANSI/BIFMA testing standard as compliance paths for this credit. When we complete the table IEQc4.5-1 in LO columns 'manufacture dates' and 'certificate/testing period' we get an error message stating "The manufacturing period must occur during the certification/test period. Please revise the values entered."
In addition the footnote in LO for ANSI/BIFMA testing states to "report the single test date in both certificate/test date columns". Which we have completed according to that statement. For our furniture tested according to ANSI/BIFMA the furniture was manufactured (Nov 25 - Dec 1,2013) the week before the testing occurred, December 6th, 2013. (testing took one day)
Why do we continue to get this error message? Especially when the ANSI/BIFMA testing standard is not a certificate like Greenguard. Which for Greenguard certificate period can be up to 3-4 years. Which would of course have the manufacture period during the certificate/testing period.
It also feels like the LO needs to be updated to convey the two unique situations (either Greenguard or ANSI) and have separate columns for certificate period and testing period.
Or am I reading this all wrong? Thanks for the feedback.
