We are engaged in LEED certification process of the distribution center located in the area which is covered by current community revitalization program. The program constitutes the community ordinance which concentrates on social matters such us unemployment, number of people who takes profits from Social Walfare Center, luck of local cultural facilities etc. The curse of action of the community authorities is focused rather on adjusting facilities to elderly and people who are excluded from society than improving employment conditions. However, still the unemployment issue is underlined.
Because the owner of the distribution center will hire people from community which is the subject of above mentioned revitalization program, we would like to apply for LT High-Priority Site/Option 2. Could anyone confirm that these path will be correct?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Agata, that sounds reasonable. The purpose of the US programs listed in the credit is to create incentives for development / new businesses in areas with high poverty or unemployment. If this is a national program, that encourages development, and uses poverty/unemployment levels to select areas to target, it should be equivalent.

As you are familiar with US programs listed in the credit requirements I would be very grateful for giving me a hint which of them would be the most suitable to compare with the objectives described above.
Thank you in advance.
