Hi All,
I am working on a project which is a dormitory. Each living unit has a bathroom which, along with a toilet and sink, contains a combination shower/bathtub. The tub faucet and showerhead will never run at the same time, and both have a maximum 1.5 gpm flow rate.
How should I document this in the water use reduction calculator? Both fixtures are listed in our plumbing schedules so I don't want to confuse the GBCI reviewer.

LEED does not currently include/consider bathtub usage so the bathtub faucet is not applicable. The logic I've heard is that as bathtubs are typically filled to a specific level/volume, there isn't really a benefit to a low-flow fixture on the bathtub faucet. You should put in just the showerhead in your calculator and just its usage/flow rate (1.5 gpm).
