Climate Data for Energy model -which year to use?

 Dear Leed Users,

For the location of the project I have found a lot of years of climate data? At the beginning I had only the year 1979, but now I found the years from 2009 -2019. Which year have I too use? I am free to choose the year I want or is there a rule (that I am not aware of) that I must use the most recent year?

You have to use a weather file that is typically a 30 year average of the local weather, not any particular year. We typoically use TMY2 data. So you will need to find something similar depanding upon the software you are using.
