I have a project that has a lot of brick & concrete demolition. This will be used as "clean fill" at a Metrofill site located somewhere else and not taken to a "landfill". I can't find any articles that specifically address that this weight can be considered as recycled. (We are using weight for calculations) Please direct me to some articles related to this and the interpretation. Thanks,

Joseph - Using masonry as clean fill is a common waste diversion tactic. I would encourage all LEEDusers to remember to check other LEED 2009 forums (especially New Construction, which has a large forum) to see if similar questions have been asked/answered. Go to http://www.leeduser.com/credit/NC-2009/MRc2?all-comments=true and search for clean fill on the page. This is a recent post (September 2013) on the subject of concrete waste - http://www.leeduser.com/credit/NC-2009/MRc2?all-comments=true#comment-43338 - and outlines its use as recycling.
