After uploading an considerable amount of credit data (but not submitted for review), I noticed that the project is set up to have a split review. If I change to a combined review, will that effect any of the data (ie. will it disappear) that has already been uploaded? My gut feeling is, "of course not", but given how "quirky" this site can be, I don't want to take any chances. Anyone out there have experience changing the timeline at this stage of the process? It is a 2009 project, so I'm using LEED OnLine version 3.

Charles, DO NOT DO THAT....I hit the same problem with a pre-certification to Design review...and all the data disappeared. (If I could have reached into the screen and pulled the button back out I would have done).
(Just to check..this is the newer format LEED on LIne reached thru usgbc.org/leedonline.new where I'm on a LEED 2009 project)

Thanks Barry. I also sent the question directly to the GBCI, referencing my specific project. Here's the response: "please note that the data entered in the forms during Design phase will retain if you changed from Design prelim application to D and C Prelim Application." ,,,now reading of your experience, I'm not sure if I should risk it.
My current timeline does not include a pre-certification review, so maybe that was the problem with your project, or could be who ever responded to my email meant to type "will not" instead of "will"....all I know is there are going to be a bunch of unhappy campers on the project team if the data disappears.

Charles. Obviously now we do save every form...better safe than sorry, before making any radical changes. Unfortunately in your case you will at some point have to 'push the button' but with everything at hand in a saved file you could at least repopulate. Again, I only had this trouble with the leedonline.new.

Well we took the plunge and the data is still there! We're using LEED Online Version 3 which is the one that only works with Internet Explorer V10 or earlier. Why is there is a different Version of LEED Online for each new version of LEED? I know nothing about web design, but I would think it be possible to create, maintain, and update a website that would work with all past, current and future versions of LEED. When I go to /leedonline/new/ I can't see any of the projects I have on Version 3; crazy.

Charles, great to hear you have all the data. As to leedonline.new (not leedonline/new), this I'm lead to believe will become the website for all leedonline. In many ways it is fairly simple to use but, so far, only new registrations use it as there is no migration of existing projects. Unfortunately it has several flaws some of which are fairly basic (A green checked credit can be opened and changed and the form incomplete yet still the green check shows 'completed and ready for review'). Still I'm hoping that these items get sorted soon.
