Hi, All!
Help, please.
We are planning to change the representative user on LEED Online, who has signed the certification in the name of the owner.
The platform says to contact directly LEED Online, however, I want to understand - is it a complicated, difficult, time-consuming or costly process? Should I avoid this change?
Thank you !

We have done this. Not painful in anyway at all.

Thanks for the response!
Was the first step the submission of the request through the feedback window, that pops up, when you hit the "Contact us" button?

If I understand correctly you are looking to change who has authourity to act on behalf of the owner? If so you can access the project on LEED Online and on the right is a column that has a yellow click-on "button" listed as "Upload Agent's Authority". This is the form that basicly says, "Owner hereby confirms that Agent has been granted authority to accept the Certification Agreement (as amended, supplemented, waived or otherwise modified from time to time by GBCI) in relation to the Project on behalf of Owner with Owner’s full knowledge." You would fill this out and have it approved by the owner and then return as an upload to LEED Online. Then on the Details tab you would be able to change the Owner information to the authorized person if you want. You cange this by clicking on the "pencil" symbol to the right of the Project Details heading. You can also change roles on the Teams tab if you want.

Thank you for the detailed response.
I fully understand the part with the Confirmation of Agent's Authority. I can easily organize that. We currently already have an owner's representative (we want to substitute him with another representative). But I do not want to edit the owner's information, because in the LEED agreement both roles are clrealy identified, and the point 13.3 cleary identifies that the owner recognizes the representative.
I am just thinking to change the signature under the LEED agreement and upload the Agent's Authority.
Could you please advise? Would it be correct?

Yes, that sounds reasonable. You can also change the owner's representative on the team member tab without changing on the Project Details. This would especially be useful if the new person has any documentation responsibilities or would like to review the project status or credits on LEED Online.
