Hi!
I am working on my Master thesis and analyse the usability of LEEDv4 material credits in Germany. As far as i know, in previous version LEED2009 german certification " Der Blaue Engel" was acceptetd by USGBC. How ist it in LEEDv4? I could not find this program in the list.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Maria, this won't be a very helpful answer unfortunately, but I can confirm at least that the label is accepted in EBOM 2009 under IEQc3.3 (custodial products and materials). It looks like a similar provision is included in IEQc7 in EBOM v4, which says that "For projects outside the U.S., any Type 1 eco-labeling program as defined by ISO 14024: 1999 developed by a member of the Global Ecolabelling Network may be used in lieu of Green Seal or UL Ecolabel standards." However, I don't know that if the label is accepted in BDC 2009 or BDC v4 under the MR credits. Maybe you can try contacting USGBC to get a more complete answer.

Maria Gof - if you get any respondse from GBCI in regards to this, please let me know, since ECOlabel, Blue Angel and other certifications would be easier to get our hands on in Denamrk as well.
