Although the LEEDUser information for EAc2 is very clear that any renewable energy sold back to the grid at a premium price may not be counted toward EAc2, I’m not clear whether this also applies to EAp2/EAc1. For example, if a project owner is installing a renewable energy system on-site but desires to sell 100% of this energy to the utility (rather than using it in the building) because they will be paid a premium rate for it, they cannot take credit under EAc2 for this energy…is it then also true that they cannot take credit for this energy produced on-site in EAp2/EAc1 either?
