Can the architect of the project do the LEED for Homes?

Hello. I am having trouble tracking down eligibility information for LEED for Homes. The reference guide says that "Each project must register through a designated LEED for Homes Provider" Can the architect be the LEED for Homes Provider or does it have to be a separate 3rd party entity? Thanks

You will need an accredited LEED Green Rater working under a LEED for Homes Provider organization to complete the process. Here's a description of the process (see the PDF download): http://www.usgbc.org/cert-guide/homes. You can find the list of LEED for Homes Providers on the USGBC Directory for Organizations: http://www.usgbc.org/organizations/members/homes-providers. Best of luck with the project!
