Hi,
I'm using for the first time the "water use reduction calculator v06" and I have a question about the table "flush fixtures".
When I have a toilet male, a toilet female and a urinal, what is the percent of occupants that I have to fill in the field "percent of occupants?
Thank you,
Márcia

I'm working in the same form, and I have the same question. Does anyone have experience with this?
My guess is that if the building is 50/50 male/female, then 50% of total occupants use each type of fixture you mentioned. That way it distinguishes between something like a lavatory or a kitchen faucet, where perhaps 100% of occupants have access to it.

Hi Márcia and Dustin,
The percent of occupants for the female toilet, male toilet, and urinal should all be set to 100%. The calculator assumes that only females are using the female toilet, and only males are using the urinal and male toilet. Therefore 100% of the females must be assigned to their toilet and 100% of the males must be assigned to the urinal and their toilet.
For fixtures such as kitchen sinks, the calculator assumes that all occupants regardless of gender have access to these fixtures, so the percent of occupants would also be set to 100%.
Generally, unless the building has a very special circumstance, the percent of occupants for all fixtures should be set to 100%.
Hope this helps!
