This link (http://www.leeduser.com/strategy/how-document-ssc2-map-data) has step by step instructions on how to document this credit.
For the average density of residential area or neighborhood calculation:
1. Use a tool, such as Google Earth, to calculate area of the residential neighborhood and then convert that to acres (43,560 sf = 1 acre).
2. To find the number of units, you may need to count from an aerial photo, contact building managers, or do your own recognizance.
3. Divide the units within your identified residential neighborhood by the area of the residential neighborhood (in acres). If it's 10 or greater, you've met the requirement.
