I am hoping someone can confirm for me whether planned bus stops which are not yet official/ in place but are guaranteed, may be included for credit achievement? According to CIR #10105 for NC projects, this is not an acceptable approach however I fell as though Neighborhood Development by nature may warrant this approach. Any insight is appreciated!
Sara, this ND credit only applies to existing transit service, and "existing" is defined as present or operative on the date of the first LEED-ND certification submission for a project. In contrast, planned transit service can be used to satisfy SLLp1.
