CS-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performance
Dear Sir,
There is a project with a office tower ,a hotel tower above the fifth storeys and a commercial podium below the fifth storeys. The office tower has its own entrance and is outside our certification boundary. their cooling sources is independent .but they share the same boilers.
so how shall I build my energy modeling? can i exclude the offices tower which is outside the boundary?

We had a similar situation with a building addition many years ago and submitted LEED Interpretation #5496.
Make sure that however you include or exclude the office tower load on the boiler plant you do so in a conservative manner.
