Hi, I am looking into a campus building that has a television recording and broadcast studio within in. The rooms in question include: TV Studio, TV Studio Video Master Control Room, Audio Mix Room, Video Edit Bays. Based on what I know about "video conferencing" rooms being excluded, I would think it's safe to exclude these rooms as well and provide an explanation to GBCI. Has anyone else dealt with this type of scenario?
Thanks!

I agree. I was able to exclude a room that is a video game training room for the military by explaining that the room is used solely for this purpose and that the occupants spend much of the rest of the day in spaces with a view. Not exactly the same thing, but I definitely think that if you focus on the main purpose and activities of the room, you should be fine. If you have any literature or organization that you can quote from that could provide a TV Studio "best design practices" that describe light levels, lighting controls, etc. even better.
