Hello,
The project building in Singapore is a 3-sty building where about 25% of the floor area is lab spaces that are strictly confidential, i.e., no access, no equipment info, no energy consumption data can be provided. We know the lab operates for extended hours and consumes a lot of energy. We can meter the rest of the building which is office use.
We have tried the submit the whole building's energy reading to the portfolio manager, but the score is really low. In this case, can we exclude the confidential lab spaces and submit only the rest of the building to get the Energy Star score?
Thank you.

Hi Ameet, only 10% of a building can be excluded from Energy Star under certain circumstances. Given the situation at your building, you might want to look into the Arc platform and connect with GBCI to discuss a way forward.
