Hi! According to appendix G if the system is 5 to 10, each floor must be modelled with a separate HVAC. Can I apply for exception, separate hvac system, if in a certain floor there are spaces which are conditioned only, no ventilation supplied as designed in the proposed? The project is located in Climate zone 1A.

If one of the exceptions to G3.1.1 applies then sure you can do that. Hard to know without more specifics on your particular situation.
