NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Baseline AirFlow rates

Hi all-

I recieved a comment from the GBCI reviewer stating that It is not clear whether the Baseline case fan air flow rates were sized based on a 20 deg. F supply-air-to-room-air temperature difference for non-laboratory spaces and 17 deg F for laboratory spaces in the Baseline systems based on the zone heat extraction rate and supply airflow rate in the SV-A report.

  • The room temperature is 75F and the AHU Supply air Temperature (75-20) 55F for the all the spaces.
  • For Lab spaces, room temp= 75 and SAT= 75-17= 58F

I am unsure what else needs to happen to address the reviewer comment?

It sounds like you have modeled it correctly. I would recommend including screenshots in your narrative response to demonstrate both the room temperature and supply air setpoints meet the requirements.
