Sorry for question overlap but this is the first time we're working on a C&S.
An office building that is being certified under LEED C&S will have 80% of its gross floor area without a complete interior fit-out at time of construction work completion. Mandatory requirements of ASHRAE 62.1 (section 5, e.g., drain pain) are applicable to tenants systems (and, therefore, must be adressed in the tenant lease agreement) or are only applicable to Core & Shell systems (as is the case in EA P1 for the mandatory requirements of ASHRAE 90.1 – please refer to C&S box in the LEED 2009 Reference Guide, pg. 246)? The problem is that this type of requirements are very detailed and difficult to address (and control) using a tenant lease agreement.
