NC-v4 EQc5:Thermal comfort

Applicability to sleeping rooms (dorm or army barracks)

Just want to verify that this credit still applies to sleeping rooms? i.e. hotel rooms, dormatory, etc.

We are doing an army barracks with rooms that 4 soldiers sleep in (college dorm type spaces). Do I just use the Hospilitality version of LEED for the requirements or regular NC?

Thank you!

Yes this credit still applies to sleeping rooms. The NC version is still applicable to your project.

I have a similar question but for a fire station, where the bunk room could be multi-occupant with multiple people sleeping, but are each bed also counted towards # Indivdiual spaces?

The BD+C EQ Overview states, "Dorm rooms or military barracks with personal workspaces are considered individual occupant spaces. Military barracks without personal workspaces are considered shared multioccupant." When I've done student dorms in the past I was told that *desks* were workstations. So a double room with two desks would count as 2 individual workstations toward the thermostat and lighting control count.
