Do the required savings for this prerequisite (and credit) need to come only from building energy, or also process loads?

Appendix G exceptions applicable to C&S?

Hello, 

We have a C&S project - combination of office and lab. Appendix G requires an exception for labs, however, due to the C&S project type we are currently not modeling any zones outside of the base building common spaces & perimeter / core zones within the tenant spaces. Does the Appendix G lab exhaust system exception (based on exhaust cfm) still apply to C&S models?

Yes. You will still need to model the whole building. If you know that the building is a combination of office and lab than some of the tenant spaces should be modeled as lab using the exception to G3.1.1.
