This isn't specifically a LEED EBOM Credit question-but very pertinent as we discuss the improved performance of an exisiting building.
We’re working on a project study for life-cycle costing of an HVAC and building envelope system that includes a white roof. Does anyone have information or resources for the annual maintenance cost of cleaning a white roof to keep it white? Internet searches on roof cleaning yield only residential-type services. I do understand most white roofs will require the cleaning every 2 years.
Thank you for any insight.

Hi Rebekah,
Have you checked with a few manufacturers if they have data related to annual maintenance? I would think that the maintenance for cleaning would entail a half to full days labor for 1 to 2 people depending on the size of the roof.
