Hello,
I am working on a freight hub construction project in France. The project is composed of a 20,000 cubic meter warehouse which is naturally ventilated.
Regarding the "Minimum Indoor Air Quality Performance" prerequisite , I would like to meet the Alternative Compliance Paths, Europe ACP: Naturally Ventilated Spaces requirements.
This alternative compliance path provides a ventilation area being the sum of supply an exhaust areas for an applicable room depth up to 10m. But in this case, the room's depth is undoubtedly longer than 10m. Thus I was planning on considering the provided ventilation area as the area for respectively, supply area and exhaust area to fulfil the ventilation requirements.
Is this considered correct or is there a more accurate compliance path to consider ?

Hi everyone,
I am in a similar situation (Italy). If it's possible to obtain any information, thank you.
German referenced standard (ASR A3.6) after Table 1, states that:
-If the personal occupancy or use of the area is not known, shall be used for the calculation of the minimum opening area of a floor area of 10 m2 per person.
-In the case of very low occupancy rates, for the calculation of minimum opening area Assume of 1 person per 100 m2 (e.g. warehouse).
I think the value 1 person per 100 m2 refers to occupation density based on groundfloor.
Nevertheless, APC for Europe states that natural ventilation procedure calculations and ventilation opening information to
must show compliance with Table 1 of this ACP.
Any other help?
