Dear All,
we are working in a project of a new airport pursuing LEED certification, and our clients asked us to perform a preliminary evaluation of the potential LEED score.
The new airport terminal will have diverse uses (such as restaurants, bank, etc) inside the building. Can we count with the diverse uses located inside the terminal, to achieved the LEED points regarding option 2. Diversity of uses?

Ricardo, there used to be a readily available document Considerations for LEED v4 BD+C Airport Projects that provides guidance on how to treat diverse uses.  (That seems to have disappeared.)  Here's an extract: "It is possible that multiple basic services located within the project boundary may be included as long as they are 50% or less than the total required.  It is important to note that all basic services must be located within a permanent storefront. Services located at kiosks would not be allowed."  The document also recommends that you contact USGBC for more detailed discussion.  Suggest you do that. Good luck!
