Hi everyone,
I have seen in a recent Addenda that the equivalency with the AgBB standard and French A+ label for formaldehyde has been removed from the available options.
Do you have any idea as to why and if it has actually been removed ? There was also an equivalency in v4 with the French label, which has also been removed.
That is quite an issue, as we do not have enough Greenguard labelled products over here in Europe to reach the different thresholds for each product category. Without those equivalencies, it basically makes the 3 points unreachable...
Thanks,
Floriana Calise

Hi Alexandre,
can you please share a reference for the addenda version you mention?

Hi Floriana,
I think I was mistaken, it seems that this equivalency is now available under "Regional ACP"
https://www.usgbc.org/leedaddenda/100002473
This one might be hard to use, as a great part of lab reports we usually have were carried out on the ISO 16000 standard, asked by the french mandatory testing, and not on the EN 16516. I know the LEED v4 used to accept this french testing with ISO 16000, but is seems that it is no longer an option under the v4.1 version...
For those who have worked with European products, do you know of any label equivalencies with this EN 16516 standard.
From what I've gathered, the GREENGUARD label validates the US standard and the pollutants limits, and it seems that the Infoor Air Comfort GOLD could do the same with the EN 16516 and the COV/formaldehyde limits required. Using those labelled products might be or only of being sure that the testing method is compliant with the regional ACP requirements.
Thanks !
