Hello! We are considering IAQ Testing per LEED v4.1 criteria. There is one sentence on the USGBC web site that refers to an "Accredited Professional" conducting the testing, howveer, we cannot find any other reference to this elsewhere in the credit, addenda, or full BD+C manual. Does anyone know the specific criteria needed by the personnel conducting the testing? Please provide a specific link if possible.

Hi all - We also had this question recently and while I don't have any specific feedback from GBCI, we determined that there aren't any specific accreditations required. That said, the tester really should be a professional who regulalry works with the required testing methods, knows how to handle the sampling process and works with an ISO accredited lab. I'd be very hesitant to hand this off to a mechanical contractor or non-IAQ specialist.
