NC-v4.1 MRc1:Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction

A2 EPDs Eutrophication

Hello,

I am starting to use the new A2 type EPDs and having some challeneges with reporting the eutrophication potential, as there are three different types reported in different units:

  • Eutrophication aquatic freshwater in kg Pe
  • Eutrophication aquatic marine in kg N eq. 
  • Eutrophication terrestrial mol N eq.

LEED asks for eutrophication, in kg nitrogen eq or kg phosphate eq. Does this mean that only 'eutrophication aquatic marine' should be reported, or should a combination of all three be given?

Has anyone else started using the newer EPDs?

This issue was raised through the Swedish GBC in 2021, problems coming with A2 EPD’s. It is relevant for all countries in the EU. I have not heard anything about a solution from USGBC/GBCI. Anybody heard anything?
