I see that there was some conversation on the views credit back in 2011. I'm thinking that someone may have received an answer by now on the question of the height of the partitions.
Even with floor to ceiling walls on the exterior if an interior workstation has partitions that are above 42" does that mean that the person within that workstation does not have a LEED compliant view? Thank you.

Blair- the whole seated view at 42" high is perhaps one of the most ambiguous requirements in LEED and seems to be viewed differently by different reviewers. Add to that partitions are actually furniture systems that may not be viewed as "permanent" and unfortunately there's no straightforward answer. I would not count on achieving this credit if you have workstations that are above 42" high, but it wouldn't hurt trying to submit the credit to see if the reviewer allows it.
