Dear Leed Users,
I have following questions concerning the documentation of this credit
- Is it necessary to upload invoices for the products that take part in the BPDO calculator, in order to prove their cost?
- It is required to upload “Corporate sustainability reports” for 100% of products contributing toward credit. What are the “Corporate sustainability reports”? Do the manufacture provide them? Is it self- declared?
Thank you

The only thing you need actual vendor invoices for are FSC wood. Its not required for anything else.
For CSR reports, that's basically not a viable option (which is why v4.1 got rid of it altogether). Manufacturers weren't producing them to the level the credit required. You're better off switching to v4.1 for all BPDO credits and going that route.

Tommy,
Thank you for your repply!
What about the recycled content? In version v4.1 we have to prove that we are greater than 15% of the cost of all products.
Don' t I need to upload in LEEDonline also the invoices of the recycled content products to prove that the prices I have input in the v4.1_BPDO Calculator are correct?
Thnak you

Recycled content you just need a data sheet show the pre and post. You do not need invoices for anything besides FSC wood

Hi Tommy - what is the strategy for a product that does not post pre and post precentages? For example, there is a product that only lists one recycled content value, but doesnt specify pre or post precentages. Thank you!

In that case, you can use it in the worst case scenario - which would be pre-consumer. If it shows a range, i.e. 15-46% recycled content, you have to use the lowest, so you'd use 15% pre-consumer.

Hi Tommy Linstroth, In regards to your comment regarding Recycled Content and 'just need a data sheet show the pre and post'.
Would you confirm the following:
for each unique steel product the project team will be required to obtain from the product supplier: mill specific post- and pre-consumer recycled content percentage.
And the date of the recycled content information must correspond with the date the steel was purchased for the product.
Company-wide recycled content rates are not accepted by GBCI.
This includes steel locks.
Thank you, AP
