Intent
To describe and document alignment with the European Union Taxonomy for Sustainable Activities.
Achieving this pilot credit will help LEED project teams gain experience connecting green building with EU sustainability requirements. The aggregated experience of project pursuing the pilot credit will inform future versions of LEED, as well as USGBC’s advocacy and policy initiatives.
Requirements
Use the Arc Taxonomy Compliance Tool to map project sustainability credentials against the EU Taxonomy requirements for Goal I: Climate Change Mitigation for New Construction, Major Renovations and Existing Buildings.
In Arc, provide answers and evidence to the substantial contribution criteria for Climate Change Mitigation and to the do no significant harm criteria:
• Climate Change Adaptation
• Water
• Circular Economy
• Pollution Prevention
• Biodiversity
