Requirements

HOMES, MIDRISE & Residential BD+C Note: Multifamily projects may earn 1 point if they include twice the number of Type A Dwell-ing Units that are required by the applicable building code. Where the applicable building code requires Type A Dwelling units, comply with the edition of the A117.1 Standard that is refer-ence by the code. Where the applicable building code does not require Type A dwelling units, then at least 4% of the total number of dwelling units must be Type A Dwelling Units and comply with criteria for Type A Dwelling Unit found in the latest edition of the A117.1 Stand-ard. Meet the criteria found in the following sections of the A117.1 Standard. 1003.2 Accessible Primary Entrance 1003.3 Accessible route within Type A Dwelling Units 1003.4 Accessible Walking Surfaces 1003.5 Accessible Doors and Doorways 1003.6 Accessible Ramps 1003.7 Accessible Elevators, where provided 1003.8 Accessible Platform lifts, where provided 1003.9 Accessible Operable Parts 1003.10 Accessible laundry equipment within Type A Dwelling Units, where provided 1003.11 Accessible Toilet and Bathing Facilities 1003.12 Accessible Kitchens and Kitchenettes 1003.13 Accessible Windows 1003.14 Accessible Storage
