Live Webinar for WSP - Change the Script: Using Computational Design for High-Performance Results and LEED

THIS WEBINAR PURCHASE AND REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
The live webinar occurred on Tuesday, June 30, and Wednesday, February 27th, 2019

Join Elliot Glassman, Associate and Technical Principal at WSP Built Ecology, for a two-part webinar series on computational design. Part one will be Wednesday, February 20 from 2-3 p.m. and part two will be Wednesday, February 27 from 2-3 p.m.

Part one, Leveraging Computational Design Scripting for Daylight and Views, will outline some of the challenges involved in successfully designing for daylight and views in the context of LEED, and then discuss how the application of computer scripting can help achieve successful design outcomes.

Part two, Computational Design Scripting for Integrated Performance Analysis, will examine some of the challenges involved in successfully designing for high performance buildings and cover how the application of computer scripting can help achieve successful design outcomes under a variety of performance metrics.

Using these computationally based design processes allows the exploration of multiple design solutions in a more fluid and integrated way, creating additional value for the project.
