Jennifer is the Director of Sustainability for Shangri-La Construction. She is the in-house Sustainability and LEED specialist and has extensive experience with the USGBC’s LEED rating systems. Jennifer has worked on projects utilizing various rating systems including New Construction, Core & Shell, Commercial Interiors, LEED for Schools, LEED EB and more. She provides a full spectrum of Sustainability and LEED consulting as part of Shangri-La Construction’s scope of services, including preliminary assessment of LEED goals; facilitation of eco-charettes; communication with all project stakeholders regarding the LEED process; maintenance of LEED scorecard; research of innovative green products, vendors, and technologies; and management of the entire LEED registration, documentation, submittal, and certification process.

Jennifer brings a true passion and commitment to green building as the Director of Sustainability. She was instrumental in securing the world’s first LEED Platinum certification for New Construction for an aviation facility through her work on Hangar 25. In addition to Hangar 25, Jennifer has successfully coordinated Shangri-La’s Sustainability program on other projects including 302 E Carson in Las Vegas, NV. This LEED Gold Core & Shell project was Nevada’s first LEED Gold office retrofit, marking an important milestone for the City and State. She recently received LEED Platinum on Citadel Environmental Services, Inc.’s Corporate Offices for Commercial Interiors. This is the first LEED Platinum Commercial Interior office space in the Tri-City (Glendale/Pasadena/Burbank) area. Jennifer is currently working on numerous LEED projects that will prove to be milestones in the green building industry in general.
