Derek Chisholm

Derek is a senior land use planner and preservationist with experience managing successful visioning projects, town center planning efforts, comprehensive plan updates, and historic preservation programs. He provides specialized expertise in downtown development, historic preservation, public involvement, LEED™ Design, and bike/ pedestrian planning. Derek has applied this expertise to downtown planning projects on both east and west coasts. He is the deputy project manager for the environmental team on the Columbia River Crossing Project. He is also an adjunct professor at Washington State University, and has just completed his second term as the Chairman of the Vancouver, WA Planning Commission
