Jesse Walton

With more than 20 years of experience with educational clients, I am passionate about creating sustainable, healthy spaces for learners of all ages. As project architect and energy efficiency specialist I work closely with design teams and district staff to maximize efficiency. An early adopter of BIM, I am an office-wide leader in Revit documentation, building envelope design, building, and energy code compliance. I co-chair the National AIA 2030 Working Group advocating for more robust data collection, visualization, and communication of that data. I currently lead the firm’s EUI and Embodied Carbon data collection for the AIA 2030 Commitment. I mentor Mahlum staff and Big Picture high school students sharing knowledge of the profession, its processes and technicalities.
