Registered Architect practicing in the Design and Construction industry for over 27 years with a focus on sustainability. I am a Design Specialist - Architecture and Sustainability for Turner Construction's Turner Engineering Group. Founding member of Turner’s Women In Construction Group in 2008, a founding member of Turner’s National Sustainability Committee since 2012, Living Future Accredited, a WELL Accredited Professional, a Green Globes Professional, a Lean Principles practitioner, and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Led the engineering and documentation efforts on multiple LEED projects, including Novartis Oncology Consolidation, Honeywell Headquarters, BASF, and GOAA Orlando Airport Terminal C among others. Member of the U.S. Green Building Council, American Institute of Architects, and attends the annual USGBC GreenBuild Conference and associated learning sessions to remain current. Credited for training over 150 clients and colleagues with their LEED GA and LEED AP credentials, established ”Green Teams” in multiple Turner business units and credited for beginning BIM in Preconstruction in the NJ Turner office. Regularly sought after as a subject matter expert for project proposals with sustainability attributes, LEED project launches, strategic sustainability initiatives, construction engineering processes as well as lean, sustainability, and safety synergies. Passion for educating students and mentoring junior staff. Former Executive Board Member for AIA Newark and Suburban and the USGBC NJ. Consistent participation, support, and involvement with numerous community service projects and events throughout career including numerous 5k races, Canstruction, food, and backpack drives among others.
