Robert Winstead

Rob Winstead is a leader in the national conversation pertaining to sustainable design, in general, and high-performance schools, in particular. He is an invited speaker at many regional and national conferences and promotes healthy, high-performance schools as a co-chair of the JRGBC Green Schools Committee. He is the current chair of the the AIA Large-Firm Roundtable on Sustainability and leads the firms efforts to meet the 2030 Challenge, an industry initiative to design carbon-neutral buildings by the year 2030.

As a lead designer, he is working with others to create safe, healthy, effective and inspiring learning environments that aspire to Living Buildings. He is committed to a collaborative and integrated design process and solutions that are specific to the client and the community. His work has been recognized with numerous awards for design, architecture, urbanism, education, and sustainability.
