Annie doesn't just want to talk about sustainable impact, she wants to facilitate action to create large scale change, using sustainability as a strategic business enabler. She enables positive change and market transformation through her company SMS Collaborative.
SMS Collaborative (Sustainability Management and Strategy Collaborative) is dedicated to providing exceptional value to its clients by leveraging sustainability as a tool to drive business growth, brand positioning and profitability. SMS Collaborative creates and implements client-tailored strategies using a proven three pillars of success program.
Annie is widely regarded within the marketplace as an expert in third-party verification and sustainable program development. She previously held positions like Vice President of Certification Services at GreenCircle Certified, LLC until starting her own independent organization SMS Collaborative in 2017. She sits as a technical advisor to: the US Green Building Council’s Materials and Resources TAG, the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), Clean Production Action and the GreenScreen Program, the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council, the ASTM E 60 Committee, and the Collaborative for High Performing Schools National Technical Committee.
