Jim Bradburn
BIO
Jim is a senior engineer in the Facilities Division of Terracon Consultants. He leverages his 25 years of HVAC system design and building analysis to deliver high-performance solutions. Jim is focused on engaging with the architectural design team early in the design process to improve the architectural design and develop an integrated HVAC solution. Throughout his career, Jim has leveraged his passion for low-energy building design to deliver innovative design solutions which optimize performance within the project’s budget and design requirements. His portfolio reflects his keen interest in and knowledge of integrated design, energy modeling, life-cycle cost analysis and renewable energy systems. Jim has been active in the Colorado and Minnesota Chapters of the U.S. Green Building Council having served the Board of Directors of both including Chair of the Colorado Chapter. Jim rounds out his design expertise with research experience at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in both energy modeling and renewable energy, and construction experience at a national general contractor leading their low energy building initiative.
