BIO

John P. Dunn is the director of sustainable development and principal for 2D Innovations, a Virginia Beach based sustainable design consulting firm. John has over 10 years experience in the design and construction industry and has overseen more than 100 LEED projects. John is a licensed general contractor and currently holds his M.B.A. and bachelors degrees from Old Dominion University. He is a founding board member of the Hampton Roads Green Building Council and an executive committee member of the Urban Land Institute of Hampton Roads. John frequently presents on green building topics and has a deep commitment to sustainability and constantly strives to find innovative ways buildings can improve their ecological footprint.
