Ryan has over a decade of experience providing green building solutions to leading architects, developers, and property management firms across Canada and Europe. He worked for six years with one of Canada's leading green engineering firm, and as an official LEED reviewer on behalf of the Canada Green Building Council. He spent three years working in Helsinki, where he founded his own green consultancy and lectured graduate-level courses at Finland's largest technical university. Ryan founded Mantle, a multi-disciplinary management consulting firm dedicated to shining a light on climate change risks and opportunities and advancing strategies to thrive in a carbon-constrained and climate adjusted future.
Ryan has a Masters Degree in Applied Science (Civil / Environmental Engineering), is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, and is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Neighbourhood Development.
