Jim is an architect who has been involved in all aspects of providing complete solutions for hundreds of projects internationally through more than 30 years of design, planning, and management experience. He has held leadership roles on a broad range of educational, university master planning, library, multi-unit residential, commercial, lab, healthcare, and hospitality projects and has been principal designer of award-winning LEED projects. Jim was in the first group of 12 LEED Faculty, Faculty mentor and elevated as one of the 32 inaugural LEED Fellows. He was Founding Co-Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Los Angeles Chapter, President of the Architectural Foundation of Los Angeles (AFLA), and served on the board of the AFLA and as Education Chair of the LA 2030 District. He is an original Instigator of the Greenbuild Slam.
