BIO

Edgar is Director of Sustainability at the Circuit of the Americas, a multi-purpose facility that will host the Formula One United States Grand Prix™ from 2012 through 2021. It is the first purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the U.S.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin, is a registered Architect (Texas), is NCARB certified, and is a LEED accredited professional (BD+C). Edgar is active in the USGBC, AIA COTA, and the Texas Society of Architects. Previously, he was Director of Sustainable Design at Marmon Mok Architecture in San Antonio (2001-2011), and was on the adjunct faculty for the College of Architecture at the University of Texas at San Antonio (2006).
