BIO

I have over 30 years experience working with commercial property managers, engineers, and cleaning service providers on operations and maintenance topics in the green building industry. In 2004, I became involved with the USGBC, and earned my legacey AP credential in 2007. Then in 2009 my AP with O+M specialty credential. Since 2004, I have developed and presented educational seminars and workshops for property managers, cleaning contractors and professional organizations on topics ranging from an introduction to LEED-EB to implementing LEED-EBOM protocols for green cleaning. Currently I am providing LEED-EBOM project administration / management, consulting and on-going LEED document management for customers of Professional Janitorial Service in Austin, Houston and San Antonio. In 2009 I developed a software program that provides EBOM project teams with a solution for managing all performance documents required for LEED O+M certification or recertification.

I have participated as an EBOM subject matter expert (SME) for the GBCI LEEDAP 2009 exam. In 2010 I was elected to serve on the GBCI credentials steering committee as the representative for Existing Buildings. Later that year, I participated in the pilot program to develop the LEED reviewer training program. In October 2010, I became a member of the development team for the “green classroom professional certificate”. In 2010 to 2011 I served on the LEED Fellow, selection committee. Over the last few years, I have also had the privilege to be the project admisinstrator for more than a dozen LEED O+M certifcation projects totaling more than 7 million sq feet of office space.
