I am a LEED AP but as a Surveyor I don't use LEED except in that I know and understand the concepts. Along these lines I would like to develop a LEED point for Grading Site balance to minimize site import and export of grading materials. Commercial and Industrial projects often do not have many options for LEED certification. Grading is the first major impact to site development and if it is done with an analytical approach, it can save time& money, minimize environment impact road traffic and road deterioration.
