Carolyn Risley
BIO
Carolyn has been involved in LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) since 2009 when she first earned her LEED Accredited Professional designation. Since that time she has been involved in 50+ LEED projects including commercial, retail, office, manufacturing and residential properties. In that time, she expanded her LEED AP credential to specialize in Building Design + Construction, Interior Design + Construction, and Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance. In addition, she is a certified Passive House Designer. Carolyn has a background in mechanical engineering, with a Master's degree in renewable energy. She is committed to sustainable building design - including the breadth of sustainable certifications offered by the USGBC/GBCI - and to increasing awareness of the many ways in which sustainability can positively affect all persons, communities, and types and areas of development.
